Shuffle the cards and deal seven cards to each player. The rest of the cards are placed face down in a pile.
How to play: Turn over the top card. If the card has an 'a' in the top left corner, the first player has to place a card with an 'a' word on top of it and say the sound of the letter (for example: "a as in pan").
The next player also has to put down an 'a' card.
If the player doesn't have an 'a' card but has a switch card, a switch card can be put down with a different vowel. The player says "switch to 'e' as in bed".
If the player doesn't have a switch card, a card must be picked up from the pack.
The player to finish his/her cards first is the winner.
